quake live

I love me some quake live, but i've been noticing people are getting ridiculous frags w/ the shotgun. if you spawn near someone w/ a shotty/lightning, good luck trying to run from them.

I dont remember them being this strong in Q3A, maybe im just a noob now, correct me if i'm wrong?

Yea, but at the same time, I suck with the lightning gun, lol

Shotty is definitely overpowered though.

I remember being _amazing_ with a shotgun in Q3A in college. Maybe that's nostalgia talking, but I do recall it being a heck of a weapon in the right hands.

i think thats the thing, it's become the noob cannon of quake live i feel. it's > rocket, rail, lightning, plasma at any distance!
