Quake III problem. Locks up everytime time

Hey. My quake 3 keeps locking up on me and i don't know why. I got it updated to v1.31 and it still locks up and i have to press reset on my case. I got Win XP Pro full updated and i'm using the Den. 28.32 drivers for my video card. I got Geforce 3 Ti-500. Why is it doing this HELP..

Do you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system?
Is your power supply good enough to handle all of your components?
Any overclocks?
How is your cooling and your internal system temperatures?
 
Hey thanks for the Welcome. Well I think its the power supply bc/ this new one in and it keeps giving me weird video problems when I power up. I ordered new case "Antec Performance Plus 1080". That gots a Truepower 430Watt so i will see if it was the power supply. I'm wondering could a hard drive controller do this? And if not then I will post back on if the problem if it went away from the new case.
