Quake 4 got rediculously hard at the end

SPOILERS!

I thought the game was fair till then. I'd call it the last big battle pre-Magnon. It was insane. I gave up and used god mode. I got o the two siders (tanks I think they are called) without god mode, but by that ime, I got sick of the same fight 20 times. I figured out what weapons to use when, but I simply thoguht it was rediculous.

Then god mode to finish and the ending story sucked.

average setting or whatever it was called. I jsut didnt feel like figuring out how to kill the tanks (spiders) while not getting hurt much.

the end game was fun and not very hard at all. I killed the makron with like 90 hp left. The most challenging area was the hallway with the waves of monsters and really the toughest of them all were the floating missle launcher guys. The rest were easy. Spider tanks are simple, just hide behind pillars and launch your big stuff. If you're realy impatient, use the DMG cause you'll be loaded with pretty much full ammo right as you go fight the makron anyhow.

Lol what a coincidence...I just finished Q4 a few mins ago, on the third difficulty level. The ending was way too much for me and I had to use god mode too.

BTW, has the railgun been weakened for Q4? It takes 2 direct shots to kill even one of the orange footsoldier stroggs -the ones that carry railguns.

Anyway, cant say i liked Q4 all that much. The graphics were awesome but gameplay was boring. FarCry is much much more fun to play.
