Quake 3 problem w/ mouse sensitivity- anyone else?

I just installed version 1.27h of Quake 3 and now my mouse sensitivity is REALLY messed up. I have it turned down almost all the way and it is still way too sensitive. If I barely move the mouse it acts like like I have the sensitivity set real high. If I set the sensitivity a few clicks above all the way down, the mouse doesn't respond hardly at all. Has anyone else had this problem with this version? Everything was fine until I installed 1.27h.
