Don't download the new patch from www.3dgamers.com. I just dowloaded and tried installing, and my firewall started going nuts. I had a friend of mine to try it too, to see if it was the patch indeed, and he said his firewall went off too.

Better check even if you didn't download from them. I've already emailed them about it. Feel sorry for those that already downloaded it, and don't even know what's going on. The ip address it said it was connecting to was 195.227.14.237. Anyone know how I can trace that to whoever it is? I typed it in my browser, but said I was unauthorized to view the page.

It allows a script kiddie to have total control over your computer. He can delete, copy files, open your cdrom, turn your monitor on and off. Just like as if he was standing next to you. They also use it to do DDOS attacks. Go here

What is the file size of the patch you have? Mine was 25.9mb, suppose to be 25.3mb

My copy is 25.3MB, and the MD5 is B282CB2D1DFB057AEEE9B8C367292034

No sign of any worms.

Most likly, 3dgamers didn't know it was in there. That's happened before, a popular file gets infected with a virus (I think it was the sIn demo and WinCH

My file is 25.3 MB and it's from 3dgamers. I installed it last night and it worked just fine.
