Who has got Quake 3 Arena running in Linux.
If you do tell me how to do it!!
Im running Mandrake 8.1 and am having afew problems.
I ran the 1.30 patch it cre8ed a directory;
usr/local/games/quake3/
then i got the pak0.pak file (458MB or something) off the Windows Q3 CD.
now im stuck i tried to run Quake 3 and it just bounced baclk to the desktop.
Is this how other people did it....
please help..
