If you want the specs here they are
Amd Athlon T-Bird 1.4Ghz O/C to 1.54Ghz
2 60Gb Ibm 60GXP Hd's on Raid stripping config 0
Visontek NVIDIA Geforce 3 Graphics card (latest Drivers)
512Mb of PC-2100 Crucial DDR RAM
Epox 8K7A MB with BIOS updated all the way.
Sound Blaster Live value card (forced to go back to this one after the darn Phillips live accoustic card didnt work properly)
thats probably all you guys need to know. Now by the way I don't know If the via 4 in 1 drivers went in correctly because when i start up computer it says something in registry failed. Which has come up before and fixed it but that was awhile ago I don't remember what I did.

Okay it says query registry failed! please contact the program manufacturer! thats the error, Now i installed the miniport drivers from my mobo and then the via drivers. Then I wanted to update to Via's 4 in 1 drivers but when i install them thats the error that comes up and I don't get the VIA icon in the start tray. And thats probably what causees freeze ups in q3. So how do i totally remove old drivers from my sys so I can just clean install via's 4 in 1 drivers. And if i do this should i get rid of the miniport drivers?

NOTE: that is what i posted on the quake 3 message boards so thats why it looks that way and also It's not just for quake 3 its actually a plain old technical problem. Hope you can help because no one over there is responding to me.
