Quake 3 Arena, Win 2000 Pro network, doesn't work?

OK, I'm sure its something obvious, but I can't find it. I have two machines both running Q3A and Windows 2000. I have them on a 10MBS network, which is working fine, they see each other, I can transfer files, internet sharing works. But Q3A won't work, one can't see the other. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think I just read something or heard something (in a forum) relating to that question over at 8wire.com. Try them out you might find what you're looking for.
