quake 3 aimbot?

I heard discussion once of an aimbot for quake3 that only worked in single player or something. that it was like when your aim is on target, it shoots for you. I can't play q3 online because I dont have a legal cd key and I'm stuck on sh!tty 56k since I lost my cable modem.

anyway, I wanted to check this crap out. anyone hook a brutha up?

Those things are stupid. I was in an on-line game one time, and there was an @sshole with one on, kept hitting everyone no matter what.

The Unreal Tourney one is even worse. It just sits there and automatically aims and shoots anyone in sight. What's worse, there's NO reload time for the bot.

Needless to say, it was a wasted game, and everyone left the server. Why would anyone do this? :|

Don't even bother with that sh!t in singleplayer. How the hell would the game be fun then?
but at any rate, just search for quake3 aim bots or cheats or something on Google. You'll find something. However, I doubt any of them will work with the new point release.

I was on a server yesterday in UT that had one Aimbot player. He had around 100-150frags while the rest was around 10-20. It was so anoying, just a sniper rifle and views of both the respawn spots, spawn kill spawn kill spawn kill.

back in the days when I did play Q3 I was constantly being accussed of using an AIMbot... it IS possible to hit a person with every shot you fire, it just is rather hard. Having a good connection and a lot of practice and some inate ability perhaps is where its at. And if you think about it playing against someone with an AIMbot is a lot like playing against a nightmare bot...

There are aimbots for two types of servers online: Rocket arena 3 servers and unpure servers. Other than that, there is absolutely no way to cheat in q3 online. Whether you're using pr 1.17 or 1.27, there is no way to cheat online in q3 unless the server is unpure.

You can get an aimbot for your own server but um... that'd be gay hehh. I like playing against my newbie friends at LAN and when they use an aimbot, it only shoots after their crosshair crosses an enemy (if you were wondering how they work)
