Quake 1.2 patch: Hyperthreading and Dual-core members chime in.

[Remedy]

The 1.2 patch has been released. But, I haven't seen any members post results about their Pentium-4 HT based systems and Dual-core AMD users about the patch and it's stability.

How are you members making out with the hardware since the upgrade?

yes, because windows see's it as 2 cpus. Obviously doesn't get as much of a boost as a dual core, but still could get up to 25% increase.

I just noticed it on the website as well. Too bad I'll never have the game. No amount of HT can make up for a GeForce 4 MX card :laugh:
