QuadroFX Go 1400

I read a review and it said that this card never went below 38 FPS in Doom 3. I thought that the Quadro cards were for designing games, not playing them. The card was in a Precision M70 w/ 1gb ram and a 2.0 PM. Any ideas on what this card would get in HL2?

I don't hink it would do well. in Most games, since it is designed for the highest possible picture quality. If you want comethin for gaming, just get a 6800gt/ultra.

This is for a MOBILE pc. The only way to go with the 6800 is to buy a really thick computer with absolutely no battery life.

It wouldn't be as great playing games as a nVidia or ATI consumer card of the same calibre as the prosumer cards are optimized for professional applications.
It'll still play them though.

dell xps laptop, it's like a mini desktop, mega laptop. lol, the point to getting this massive things is..?

I've got a Dell 9300 lappy. It's not the smallest thing in the world by any streach, but it's certainly not too heavy for it's size. I got it with the 6800go, and doing normal laptop activities I get 3.5 hours+ of battery life with the backlight on, which isn't bad in my book.
