quadro2 pro dual monitor problems

I have an old quadro2 pro card am I am trying to get the dula monitor function working

i can get display on both monitors but the nvidea software only sees 1 monitor so i have none of the functionality of spanned windows etc. have tried latest software etc..

is it possible that certain cards do not allow for the enhanced multi dsiplay functionality??
