Quadro Question

I just picked up a PNY Quadro4 200 to replace my Matrox G400max (to treat myself to some dual dvi gudns).

While the stock Quadro drivers work fine, I was hoping to be able to use the NVrotate feature present in the newer detonator drivers.

Will the Detonator series of drivers work with this card or am I sol?

tia.

Well, when I was first installing the card, I tried to use the latest driver from PNY's site... oddly enough, the display would go into DVI power saving mode after the W2k boot screen passed. I tried several times un/reinstalling devices/drivers to no avail. Then used the older drivers on the cd that came w/ the card and it worked fine.

I'll try tonite to upgrade to the newest version from nvidia's site (I already had them downloaded anyway).

Back to the same problem... I installed the latest driver set (and not, this are not "detonator" drivers, but the driver suggested by selecting Quadro | W2k.

After updating the driver, the display goes into DVI Pwr Saving mode. After reboot, the display goes into this same mode during the boot process.

So, rebooted in VGA mode, uninstalled the drivers/devices, rebooted, reinstalled the stock drivers from cd (v 31.??) and all is well again.

This leaves me with two questions... why can't I upgrade drivers and even if I could, does the latest Quadro driver have the NVRotate feature?
