Quadro NVS 160m - directx issue

I get a "Directx 8.1 not installed" error which isnt true, however I am on a computer that was originally a business laptop that has one of Nvidia's NVS line of cards.

Does this card not support that old of directx, and therefor, Won't play Warcraft 3 and the likes?

Yep did that too, i manually installed the latest update, but just to make sure i went back and used their online tool to verify that they are the latest, drivers

Anyone else have an ideas or any experience with 160m NVS line of mobile video cards?

I have the NVS 135M, which is essentially the same architecture and core configuration but built using a larger process (G86 v. G98).
