quadro fx1400 failing?

Recently, my computer is having a VERY hard time playing video, especially from the internet, noticeable when I play a news video. It will freeze or run slow to the point that mouse movement on the screen is displayed about a minute after input. The last time this happened, I let the machine sit for a few minutes, waiting for it to awake, and one of the monitor stopped receiving a signal from the computer? I checked the input lines to the monitor and they were fine, and it is working fine after being rebooted. Any ideas?

Did you check how hot the card was? Is your machine running normally other than that?

I didn't check how hot it was running, did you mean just touch it? The machine runs normally otherwise, only when trying to play video does the problem occur.
