Hey guys,

I'm working on setting up a system with quad monitor output (4x DVI).

If I use an NVIDIA 650i mobo I get 2x PCI-E slots (for SLI)

Can I just plug in two 7300LEs with dual DVI outputs each and run 4 monitors or do I have to run in SLI with 2x cards that support SLI?

Also is there any issues in doing this via Vista versus XP?

Thanks!

You just need 2 PCI-E slots and 2 PCI-E cards. You don't need Crossfire or SLI to enable quad monitor support.

You would need to disable SLI anyway to get 4 monitors; only 1 monitor works with SLI enabled.

You can even go 4x PCI cards, Windows just detects multiple display adapters and lets you configure accordingly.
