Hi, I just finished putting together a new PC with Asus A8n-Sli and two Asus N6600GT video cards, I had believed that I will be ablt to run four monitors on it. It turns out that I cannot do it. Can someone suggest a low cost way of fixing this problem. I would like to change as few components as possible. I am not a gaming enthusiast so I really do not care about high end graphics.

Please help!

If you don't run in SLI mode, you can use all four monitors. In SLI mode, only the monitors attached to the first display can be used. This was discussed in detail in every SLI review I read.

Alternatively, you can add one or more PCI video cards to get more displays.

I do not know how to disable the SLI, The mohterboard has two PCIE slots, however, if you put single/dual selector card in the single mode, the 2nd PCIE slot becomes the PCIE X1 slot and does not see the card at all.

I am not sure how do I disable SLI. Do I put the selector card in Single or dual mode? Also do I just take the SLI bridge card out or is there more involved. If you can guide me step by step I will be greatly thankful! Also how do I wnable PM?

SLI was meant for better performance on a single display, not for multiple monitors. And yeah, Matrox would have been better.

I think I have enabled my PM option, I still want to know how to do it. If you can break it down step by step I will be very thankful. Also which matrox card, is everyone talking about?
