hi yall here is my thing I got 2 haddrives first is a 20 gig with Windows ME on it ( dont want to do any thing to that) the other haddrive is a 10 gig Harddrive. on the 10 gig I want Win2k pro Rhat 7 and FreeBSD 4.3 ( i think that is current and stable. Here is where is gets kinda freaky. the 10 gig is a secondry master on my ASUS p3v4x mother board. I plan to just go to the bios Disable the 20 gig and boot to the OS of my choice on the 10 gig. Now for the freaky part , I want to use the Win2k Boot loader to choose which OS I want to boot to and want Win2k to be the default incase I dont choose an OS. My other choice for boot loader is the Rhat 7 booter (lilo i think)which has a nice GUI type of interface. Also I want to have it so my Windows ME ( 20 gig haddrive) can not see any of the Rhat/FreeBSD partitions dont care if they see the Win98se and the win2kpro partitions. ALso want to know which OS to install first 2nd 3rd and 4th. and how should the paritions go. You might ask why quad boot I ask why not, okay I want to use Win98se for games and just try out stuff. Win2k to learn a tad more about Win2k stuff. Rhat7 to test the so called " alternative" and freeBSD because in the University I attend I will have to take a Unix Course and want to know atleast a little before I go to the intro course.

I cant see any major problems with that. However, you'll have to make sure to install each OS in the correct order (cant speak for FreeBSD). If you install w2k then linux, linux will install its own bootloader and then allow you to set it up to boot each OS. If you install linux first and then install w2k, w2k will overwrite the bootloader and i dont think that it will be clever enough to see that linux is installed (could be wrong though!!)

Another thing is that, in an ideal situation it would be better to use the 20gb disk for all the OS's rather than the 10, just because this will give you a bit more space. w2k alone takes around 800mb for a clean install, before software.
