I have a laptop that I put winxp pro on, and for awhile had ez cd creator. I uninstalled cd creator and now my dvd/cdrw won't work. It shows up in device manager as having corrupted or missing drivers, and doesn't show up in my computer at all. I've tried deleting the device, restarting, deleting the device in safe mode, deleting the IDE controller....hoping that it will redetect and reinstall the right drivers. But no dice. Its a QSI DBW-081 drive. I can't seem to find anywhere any mention of drivers for this thing. In the properties, it says its using cdrom.sys, redbook.sys, and storprop.dll as drivers. Any ideas on what I might do or can do to fix this? thanks!!
