looking to get a slot A motherboard for a working 800 MHz processor of mine. The one i found on E-bay the QS750 only supports up to 750 MHz. the seller said if i flash the BIOS with the new BIOS revision that it will support the new thunderbird CPUs which i'm guessing is what i have.

is this the case or no? or better yet does anyone know where i can get a NEW slot A motherboard that already supports my CPU?
 
Flashing your bios should really be no big deal. Download the new bios and boot off a floppy and install it is the typical thing you do.
 
ok so even though the motherboard only supports the 750 MHz CPU the new BIOS will allow my 800 MHz CPU to run properly or will it run it at 750 MHz speed? and again is there anywhere else online i can buy a slot A mobo without buying a used one off E-bay?
