Yes, it does. Good choice, however I'd wait for the 8KHA+ with the newer KT266a chip instead (out any time now). Was going to get an 8KHA myself, but opted for an 8K7A+ instead 'cause I wanted the extra IDE ports.

Are you sure Brian? I do heard that it supports 1.4ghz but as I
went through the manuals, and I also asked my vendor,
the manuals states that it supports up to 1.1ghz and the
answer from my vendor is that is supports up to 1.3ghz (frankly,
I don't quite take his word because I feel he is technically inclined, hehe).
That'w what takes me to this place. =)
I would like to wait for the + series since I've heard about the newer chipset but
when is it due? Hope you can help me out Brian. Thanks.

A board eaisly will be able to run the fastest CPU's with a simple BIOS update, so yes I guarantee it. 8KHA does support 1.4GHz athlons, u just might need to flash the latest BIOS. And yea. I'd wait for 8KHA+. KT266A beats everything in sight.

WEll, I will have to settle for the KHA because it has just arrived here
in my country. I guess by the time KHA+ reaches Malaysian shores
it would be November.. eheh.
