The back of my card is empty except for a line.

I was thinking to put Three QR Codes on the back

LinkedIn/Email/Phone with a corresponding Icon over each of them.

Would this be acceptable or too over the top? I want my card to "stand out" But not look dumb. The front of the card is simple

A simple graphic
Name
Mechanical Engineer Student
Phone Number
Email
Website(Just has Resume on it with google docs)

Do whatever you want. I was talking to a recruiter the other day and he said no one really cares what is on the business card just as long as all your info is their and readable. He said that the first thing he does when he goes over cards is flips them over and looks at that back of the card. He kind of laughs when he sees people who do not add anything so it has a vista print advertisement on the back if they ordered it from there. He said he thought it was kind of corny.

I have one for work and one for a business I'm starting up. Should I have some made with just my name and contact info?

Step ahead of the curve and add an NFC sticker with the same info.

True, The cards I want to buy are like 60 bucks shipped for 250 kinda expensive but they should last me a long time since they will only be handed out to people I care that need fancy cards lol, got an event on the 22nd and they wont make it so looking at templates apparently Avery makes clean edge ones which are very good, which will have to do for now.

Wow, $60 for 250? Dam, those better be good glossy cards on heavy stock. As for the Avery cards....yeah, the software they suggest you use is horrible. It crashes every 10 minutes. I think you are better off going to Kinkos or Staples and getting one of their onsite/same day cards done. Also, with the Avery cards, you have to deal with calibrating the software with your printer. It's a headache, especially when you consider that the cards are almost as thin as paper.

Up to you I guess. Consider this...if you gave someone a business card and it had your job's logo on it (the company you do not own), you just used company property to promote yourself and not the company. How do you think a recruiter sees that?

I was just going to use publisher. And Calibration haha It should be good enough for now.

Yea pretty expensive but they are on 16pt paper with vegetable/soy based ink. If I get that card I will also type a line out that says that so the person who gets my card knows. They care about that stuff.

Shipping kills and Adding color back side kills. Meh still debating about this though..
