QNX

I was having a look at QNX, this runs under Windows, it's not a stand alone OS?

I have a copy of QNX Momentics PE - 6.3.0, and I've never used it before, but it has a win32 setup.exe.

This is what I get if I stick the CD in when I'm running XP:

QNX is an RTOS, usually used for embedded systems work.

"QNS Momentics" (which is what you appear to be installing) is a software development suite. I would assume it can cross-compile to embedded QNX...

Ok I guess then QNX Neutrino is the OS.

I just thought the name QNX signified the OS.

QNX Momentics NC is available free of charge for non-commercial use only. It contains the QNX Neutrino RTOS, development tools, and a complete environment with hundreds of software packages.

Let me check this thing again.
