I've been trying out the free version of QNX 4 RtP. When I boot into it, I get an error about being unable to load "devc-con" and I have to reboot. I've tried the boot disk, DMA on and off, and no go. I have an Athlon 900 on a KT7-RAID, should be supported. I read somewhere that QNX can't boot off a DMA66 or higher hard drive (mine's ATA100), how could I get around this?

If it says it can't boot off a DMA66 controller then the probably means there's no drivers for it. There isn't going to be any hack to get around it (it ain't copy protection, it's a lack of software being there). Now if you can boot it one your standard mobo controller then you might be able to find some 3rd party drivers for the controller (doubtful, as QNX though a decent OS doesn't have a very big following), but that's a longshot.

Just put your hard drive on ide 1 if that doesnt work then the problem isnt just your hard drive.

I'm no expert on QNX, but I have never been able to get it to boot on a ata-100.. I wrestled with it for a while.
