Both the nachos (customized at will - I usually do the shredded beef with pinto beans and their medium green salsa) and the queso burrito are excellent choices.

I'm glad that you posted :)

My wife doesn't really like spicy food but loves Chipotle's fajita burrito bowls.

How are the chicken quesadillas's? Is the fresh pico de gallo spicy at all?

we can go to el tiempo cantina or laurenzo's 1308 cantina for modern tex-mex (and cerveza) from the family that invented the fajita.

Qdoba has great food but we don't go there anymore since my wife worked there in High School. Her boss would call her a bitch and a slut so after a few weeks of this she quit.

I don't find it very spicy at all... gf thinks that Chipotle burritos are spicy though - and they do have a small zest to it. I just go once in awhile because they have more choices than Chipotle.
Their chicken is good, just don't eat there too often :p

Like someone said... it is just tex-mex food. I still prefer Baja Fresh out of these 3 big chains, but the small local ones in LA (that I've been to during business trips) trumps all of them.

It's ok, but I like Chipotle and California Tortilla more. Qdoba uses a lot of nacho cheese in their entrees.

Unfortunately there are no Chipotle or Baja Fresh places here in PA. Everyone I've talked to so far has loved Qdoba, so I guess there's something to t. There's a Qdoba near me on 15th and Walnut so I guess I'll check it out.

Rubio's fish tacos are great. There's a small chain called Pechanga's (not the casino) out in LA that I always visit whenever I fly out.

i perfer qdoba ocer baja fresh and chipotle
in pittsburgh, baja fresh closed down after qdoba set up shop. now chipotlte is there and both are good but i perfer the selection at qdoba, and the way they make there food.. all this was near the 3niv. of pittsburgh. so there are lots of hungry college kids.

Oh man...I don't know how the rest of the chain is but the Qdoba here in Morgantown is the tits! Go for the ground sirloin with black beans, load up the hot sauce and get a cheap draft while you're at it...unless you've got work today....then make it a double :)

Either you are crazy, or baja fresh and chipotle standards vary greatly from location to location.

I like baja fresh because it has more variety on the menu, but if I want a burrito I go to chipotle... at least here in rosslyn, the chipotle burritos are awesome, the meat that baja fresh uses just isn't as good... the steak is kinda greesy, the chicken is too dry. Chipotle's rice is a million times better than baja fresh's.

It's not terrible, and I am even thinking about going for baja fresh today, but chipotle is clearly better at least here :)

I love me some Qdoba, the wife and I actually ate there on Sunday. She always gets the chicken quesadilla, and loves their pico de gallo. I typically either get the Queso Burrito or their taco salad (their corn salsa or whatever it is is damned good). Hell, I've even went there on lunch before and just ate chips and queso dip (I could eat their queso every day of the week).
