Ok, I ordered a video card from Qbit pc, only to find out that it was out of stock, contrary to what the site said. So, I cancelled the order and ordered a card from Newegg. A week AFTER I got my card from Newegg, I recieved another from Qbit. So I refused it and asked for a refund. They told me that I couldn't prove that I cancelled the order since I did it over the phone (as suggested by their policy!), so they charged me a restock fee and s&h for a card they were never supposed to ship to me! This was a month ago, and I have not received a dime from them. I've reported them to the BBB and Pricewatch (where I hard about them). Where else can I file a complaint?

Moral of the story: Stick to Newegg and Crucial!!! You can't go wrong!

should've checked ResellerRatings before ordering. course, now that that place is gone, I think we'll be seeing more of these types of complaints. :(

Unfortunately, I never even heard of resellerratings until after they shut down. But for the future, it doesn't really matter, because I'm done with new online stores anyway. Unless a place comes highly recommended at anandtech, I'll stick to Newegg and Crucial. After all, I first found Newegg through these forums.

Did you order with a CC? If so, can you file a complaint with the CC company and refuse to pay?

I'm in the middle of something with them right now. (Wich resellors raitings was still about.) I'll post again in a week or so when they've decided what they are going to do about their mistake.
