Q9650 oc ?

Ok, so I have decided to try and get a little more out of my aging rig.My Q9650 is at 3.6 now. I plan on getting the Corsair H70 and see what I can get out of it stable. My question is ( and I realize all chips will OC differently) what kind of OCs can I look forward to.. thats 24/7 stable?

*Note*
My 3.6 oc as of now has been stable for about a year without any voltage bumps.

EVGA 750i FTW.

^^ that will be your limiting factor, as it's not likely going to allow as high FSB as the UD3R/P series, etc.

I was able to overclock mine to 3.82GHz comfy, with a midrange board, you should be able to do the same ( I don't know how well the EVGA motherboard overclocks)

The 3.8 is on air. Same rig with a better power supply gets 4 24/7, unfortunately it has to go through a rma. It did post and load windows 7 at 4.2 but would crash on benchmarks.

Wow, motherboard RMA'ing sucks, hope you can get yours faster, which was the highest overclock that you could get from the Q9650, I could get it to 4.0GHz but my Core Contact Freezer 120 couldn't get the job done, may be with water cooling.
