Q9550 Temps

I just did a build with a Q9550 and EP45-UD3R. I have a Zalman 9500A cooler on the chip with lots of airflow in case. No overclock yet.

Here are my temps using Real Temp 2.70 at idle. Speed fan 4.37 is significantly higher.

C0 38C
C1 31C
C2 34C
C3 32C

Are these temps OK? Is core 0 normally higher or did I botch putting on the cooler?

thanks

Just to compare, I'm currently running a 33% load (encoding) and my temps are:
44, 42, 41, 43C

Same chip, stock cooling.

I have been running Prime 95 for 15 minutes.

My load temps are

C0 54C
C1 48C
C2 52C
C3 49C

I am little worried that the temp differential between the cores is too great.

What do you think? Am I all right or should I remount the cooler?

Your temps look fine for running Prime. Also the difference in core temps is normal.

Just installed a Q9550 E0 with temporarily a CoolerMaster Hyper TX2

Idle:
C0 30C
C1 41C
C2 37C
C3 30C

Prime 95 for 40 minutes:
C0 47C
C1 44C
C2 45C
C3 45C

Is Prime 95 the best stress testing app?
