Q9450 or X3350 on a DFI LT P35-TR2 anyone?

Anyone running either a Q9450 or X3350 on the DFI LT P35-TR2, if so which BIOS are you using and are you experiencing any problems? There is no official support for these CPUs, but I have read about peeps using them on the newer version of this board (the X48 version) just fine.

Thanks!

X3350 was running fine for someone on OCforums last week (or was it xtremesystems). Whatever, I saw it posted as working fine.

Flash to latest bios.

The X38 version runs my yorkie fine.

And it does a dayam good job at it too.

X3350/3320 and E3110 xeons all seem to run fine on the "consumer" boards. I haven't had any returns from compatibility issues. Some people have purchased a celery though to boot & flash and to keep around on hand in case something does go wrong (not that you would want a celeron for anything else hehe)

My X3350 would not work with my ABIT IP35-E with the latest BIOS (16). It did work with my Asus P5E-VM HDMI. I had to update the Asus BIOS to the latest to make it so it wouldn't warn me about an unrecognized CPU but it did work out of the box.

p35 boards need a bios update to run yorkfields. The ip35 pro just got a new bios (16), just in time for me to flash to a freakin' beta bios first!!! The ip35-e is also on bios 16, but it's a different unit and is not currently supporting 45nm quads.

edit: hey gersson, why are you only at 3.4 on your x3350? Markfw900 seems to have had some problems oc'ing his as high as he had hoped, are you down that low b/c you're still testing, thermal issues, fsb issues, etc?
