Q9450 OC and 8GB ram.. what mobo?

I'm looking for a motherboard that will be stable with 8GB RAM while OCing my Q9450. I haven't bought my RAM yet, so I'm open to either DDR2 or DDR3.

Budget is less than $250.

I was thinking about the ABIT IX38 Quad GT, but I can't find an in depth review about it similar to the reviews at AT.

I don't need SLI or Crossfire, but I do need at least 6 SATA w/ RAID-5 support.

Any suggestions?

I have my ASUS Rampage Formula overclocked to 3.2 GHz (Q6600) with 8 Gigabytes running at DDR1000 stable. You processor should react similarly depending on how high you want to overclock.

Most new 775 boards these days don't seem to have a problem with 8GB of RAM. As to DDR2 Vs DDR3, you would probably be looking at 3 times the price of DDR2 and I just can't see that being worthwhile.
