Intel just released the Q8400. Should I upgrade to that or wait for the Q9400 to come down in price. Anyone know if the Q8400 will overclock to around 3.5GHz?
Also, I have not flashed my DS3L yet, but Gigabyte did release an update some time ago to allow yorkfields to be recognized, that should allow me to use this cpu correct?

I haven't seen any overclock experiences about it yet but I'm interested in seeing how it does too, I'll either swap out my e4500 for that or a Q9550 depending on how others do with the chip.

And yes, flashing your BIOS will allow you to install the CPU.

I know Gigabyte released a new bios version awhile back, but I wasn't sure if it included this one. Intel must have a certain identifier on all chips so that when a new family is released the mobo doesn't need a bios flash for every new chip to be released within that family.
