bought a q8400 and gigabyte p43 board at fry's last week for $150 after rebate.
today they've got a q9400 and biostar p45 board (though without 2x pci-e 16x slots) for the same price after rebate
so should i disassemble the q8400 and try to exchange it? i think the biggest consideration is resale value (though this gigabyte board really does seem to use less power, i'd had a q8200 with an ecs g31 board in there until last week and the gigabyte draws ~10 watts less according to my kill-a-watt)
edit: eh not worth the hassle.
