Q8200 overclocking. OC gurus needed ^^*

Spec: Q8200 + Abit IP35 E + 4gbRAM DDR2 800 Kingston.

Current OC is at 3ghz with 430mhz fsb.

Originally I thought I was limited by the ram and thought that was the limit without getting a faster memory.

However yesterday I cleaned the system out and reset bios etc and realized that ram was running happy at 520mhz for hours!. I apparently forgot to change the ram timing to 1:1 and it didn't have any issues.

Voltages are . cpu 1.24v , North bridge 1.33v, Ram 2.0v.

So Ram can take high OC, but it's still not stable at 450fsb even with higher cpu voltage. Temperature is good and is keeping under 28c.

Any ideas? I wouldn't care to OC any further except damn SC2 is a cpu hog.

If you lower the CPU multiplier at 450fsb and its still not stable then you are limited by your FSB granted you are sure your RAM is stable.
