This is easy to do with it near the power connector. That tall glued on heatsink applies a lot of force to the chip if you even bump it. It sticks to the heatsink and you can't read the part number.
It is not the same as Q9 and Q5 as I have read elsewhere. It does have the same general pinout, but it is a special PWM optimized part.
If you need to replace it, here is the exact same part. I got the number off of a 9800pro where that heatsink was successfully removed and the part number of the IC could be read.
