Q6600 Temps Question

I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with a Q6600. I successfully did the tape mod and now am running at 3ghz stable. It has run fine with everything I have thrown at it but I want to make sure my temps are fine. Stock cooling. ide temps are around 37C, all full cores at 100% load on latest prime95 using the small FFTs test cores get to about 69C and then stay there.

stepping is B G0 revision VID 1.1625v

Super Pi 1M=17 secs

Edit: hmm artic silver 3 must not have been settled. im now getting 64C 64C 60C 62C steady @ 100% load
 
You should be good to go, but personally, I wouldn't OC any more. I prefer to keep my temps at or under 65C. Others will go to 70C, but I try to be conservative and stay at 65C.
 
well i cant OC anymore because my dell mobo bios is locked. That is why I had to do the tape mod to get to 3ghz
 
I hate to barge in on a post like this, but I also have a question similar in nature, I have a q6600 sitting at 3.0ghz, and for some reason the voltage wants to sit really high, however the temperatures sit quite low, under load they only hit around 135 F. Any suggestions?

No, but it's not high enough to cause problems, either performance-wise or longevity-wise.

lol show me a dell besides XPS which allows overclocking minus bsel mod.

Anyhow theres nothing he can do because dell's sink is at best crapastic. It does its job at stock settings, but the moment he plays with voltage and overclocking, watch that furnace rise!
