I just put together a new rig. Q6600 & P5k-e & 8600GT. I'm running speedfan 4.34 beta 37. I'm getting the below results while under load with Prime95.

What is AUX actually reading if anything? It's 125C stressed and Idle.

System 31C
CPU 45C
AUX 125C
Core 0 56C
Core 1 56C
Core 2 54C
Core 3 54C

125C is an incorrect reading. It is just a null reading, I wouldn't worry about it. Best to just not show it.

Temperatures/Heat have a habit of making your computer restart or be unstable.

If your computer is stable, call it good 🙂.

thanks. i figured as much but i wanted to check just to make sure since it's a different board that I'm used to.

Which HSF are you using and how high are you overclocked? I have the same mobo and CPU, and am running 2* hotter than you at 3.0Ghz at stock voltage and a AC Freezer 7 Pro. Have not used SpeedFan though.
