Q6600 Core temps

Quick question about the temps I'm reading for my processor temp readings.

I have a Q6600 runnning at 333x9. But when I use CPU-Z I get readings that say that Cores 1 and 2 idle at about 32 C and cores 3 and 4 idle at 28 C. Is there any reason for the disparity of the core temp readings? When under prime stress the temps might go up to 45 C, so I'm pretty happy with the temps overall, just not sure why they are uneven.

My only thought has been that somehow the thermal paste distribution is uneven and that might cause something, but don't really want to redo the whole thing again. Especially because the temperatures are pretty cool already.

Thanks

A temperature delta between the cores is common, and almost unavoidable. However getting the delta as low as possible at the load temps is what you're shooting for, I'm pretty sure I have one of the largest temp deltas here, gonna have to remount one of these days, damn finals.

My temp delta is pretty big too.
Lowest temp core is 27-28 at ideal
but highest temp core avg is 37-38 at ideal
=/ about 10 degrees delta...
I should remount too...
