Hi all. I remember reading on this forum that the cores for the quad were aligned something like so:

0 1
2 3

but being noobish I can't figure out the reference point. So if I'm looking at my quad with the notches at the top and the slightly raised bit are like so ---|, which way do I rotate those numbers? Thanks.

I'm surprised Intel wouldn't rotate one wolfdale die 180 degrees relative to the other one just to better distribute the heat across the IHS surface.

.0..1.| L2 L2
L2 L2 |.2..3

edit: formating is an exercise in futility.
