Q: What's looked at in a "typical" background check?

While I'm unemployed now, I'll have to find a part-time job when the next semester starts and I see all these job opportunities posted on-line saying that a background check is required. What does a "typical" background check entail? :confused:

A typical background check will look for felonies on your criminal history (some check the total history, some check back 5-10 yrs). They don't usually care about driving record unless your job is driving something, and they don't usually care about credit unless you're working around money.

Why? What'd you do?! :laugh:
