i keep one handy with apps on it; spyware removal, firebird, thunderbird, deleted file restore program, flashplayer installer, quicktime installer with cache, file archive program, mbm, winamp, ati and nvidia drivers, adobe acrobat reader, OpenOffice and the Gimp comrpessed

thats about 115mb or so, i have a 128mb drive

i keep it handy in case someone needs....well anything on that, since so many people have windows xp now, and i got tired of downloading stuff for everyone when they needed something because they still cant figure out google and web page navigation

if i need to transfer something for someone, or from my pc to somewhere else and dont care to burn it to a cd...i delete the stuff on the drive and put what i need on it

its come in handy a few times, i got mine as a gift; i dont use it enough that i would buy one myself, but its nice now that i have it

I keep a copy of Trillian Anywhere, Winamp setup files, and the Offline NT Password disk image. Whatever space left is dedicated to documents and the usual furry pr0n.

So far I just walk around with the lanyard around my neck showing it off.

With windows98, you have to download drivers for it off the manufacturer's website.

I use mine to transfer xpreadsheets and sales data from work, so I can work on them at home.

On another note - I bought a cehap no-name Chinese made 128MB model, and left it in my pocket the first week I had it. It went through the washing machine. I almost cried. I made sure it was dry, plugged it in, and it's been running perfectly ever since! How's that for keeping it clean! :)

Use mine at work. Has various drivers, patches, utilities, etc on it so I don't have to find things on the network when I use them often.

Can get a 64meg one from Office Max for like $10 every couple weeks after rebates. The 128s are usually 20-30.

My wife uses hers a lot when she works on projects and prsentations and has to take them between work and home. That and they are far far more reliable than floppies.
