Q: Uninstalling Norton Antivirus Corp. edition

I have Norton Antivirus corp edition vesrion 7.6. One of my "Optimizer" application screwed up my NA application. Now I can't delete or reinstall Antivirus iapp. It is asking me for password which I never set up in first place. How can I delete Northen Antivirus, so that I have clean install?

Search the Symantec database. They provide steps to manually remove the software.

The default password is symantec - you might try that.

If not, the manual uninstall instructions are on the website as Lord said.
