Well it looks decent and spiffy, but there aren't any detailed specs on that website, which makes it pretty suspect to me. Do you have the PSU with you? What does it say on it regarding its ampere ratings at various voltage rails?

yeah, there`s a complete review here:
read it

As for the most important part:

Voltage Rail Idle Load
3.3V +3.3V +3.3V
+5V +5.03V +4.97V
+12V +12.04V +12.11V

Altogether a good result, even more so when you consider the 431W Enermax failed to allow the system to complete the benchmarks. The Enermax could only deliver 4.60V under load so the system instability was hardly surprising. To be fair the XP2100/K7S5A/GF4 is a tough load and the ECS motherboard is renowned for being fussy over PSU's.

What I was asking for was the ampere ratings at the various voltage rails, rather than the max/min voltage at the rails...but those are nice to know as well. Besides, you're comparing a 550W PSU to a 431W PSU, which is hardly a fair comparison if you ask me.

*edit* Here are the numbers I was looking for.
Voltage Peak Max
+3.3V 30A 20A
+5V 40A 35A
+12V 20A 14A
-5V 1A 0.5A
-12V 1A 0.5A
3.3V+5V peak power = 285W
12V peak power = 240W
-5V peak power = 5W
-12V peak power = 12W

Not too shabby, but nothing spectacular, considering its a 550W PSU

Can`t find the amp either, but the rest of the review looks great. Good score and great results.

And to compare this 550 with a 431, It`s not all about the wattage ofcourse the max/min volt is more inportant.
And if the price of the 550 is less than that of the 431, well.......

So I guess it`s a great psu, with the dual fan, nice voltage and good bechmark results.
