I got this message on one PPS LLR WU: "Completed and validated (1st)." What does 1st indicate?

Also, do I have to do something special to get the Ryzen app? My time was seriously beaten by a Windows/Intel 3.40 Ghz machine.

The message means that you returned your results to PG before your wingman. If a prime was found, you would've have been the prime finder.

There is no special Ryzen application for the LLR subprojects. The current LLR application version 3.8.21 (or the underlying gwnum library) is meant to use the optimum code path automatically, from what I understand.

I read that the improvement of 3.8.21 over 3.8.20 on Ryzen is at the order of the variability between PrimeGrid WUs, hence can only be properly measured by comparing the very same WU in both versions, outside the boinc-client.
