9. Sometimes a moderator will delete a thread, other times they will lock it, and leave it to delete later. Locked and left up usually means that we want other users to have a chance to view the thread to get an idea of what is/is not allowed.
What rules were violated in my mod protection program thread? There was no flaming, trolling, or neffing. Why is discussing the AT forum mod policy not allowed? There was no bashing, or "mod taunting." And most people came in w/pro mod policy replies. I think my "mod protection program" thread getting locked is pretty funny considering one question I posted in there was "Who mods the mods?"
I don't understand why a civil discussion was locked.

In the FI forum, threads are often locked after their respective questions were answered. This was the case here.
