Q about selling photoshop on flEaBay

Heya,

I just received my Photoshop 5.0 LE copy from my Maxtor HD purchase. I saw LE going for 20.00+ on flEaBay, so I thought I might do the same - I know this was a big thing a few months or so ago, so I'm a bit new to it.

flEaBay says you're not allowed to ship OEM copies of software. This clearly says "For Bundles Only" but I'm curious if I could just sell it anyway (looking for at least 20-30$ by the way).

Thanks xero, I know, but the question here is am I even *allowed* to post this on flEaBay, and will anyone do anything if I do. Haven't others sold it also?

I don't think it is allowed according to E-Gay rules, but I doubt they can stop you. You can probably post it on the forums here, as long as you mention it was bundle with stuff then its ok (I think).



I got the same bundle and just sold the thing to my friend. I already had 5.5, since my dad "borrowed" it from work. If you don't have photoshop, I recommend you keep it, you never know when it will come in handy. Its a lot of fun to play with it in your spare time

A few months ago, these were going for upwards of $50 on Egay, but since the maxtor promotion came around, you can't give them away. I had six copies that I got with hard drives & I sold them to someone on the forum for $15 apiece. That's probably the best you could hope for IF you can get rid of them. I know most of the copies on Egay are from the hard drive deal, you you might as well try there.

You can always jack up the price of shipping & make a couple extra bucks if you sell it on Egay. People there don't even look at the shipping charges. I sold my used full retail versions of all my adobe products & charged $30 shipping on the bunch--though I ended up insuring them for $2000 which wasn't cheap.

5.5 has a ton of features missing in 5.0 LE. I don't know if that is cause its LE or cause its 5.0.
