Q about Newegg...

I know that most stores have a policy that if you buy a product and it drops in price within the return period, you can get a refund for the difference by bringing your receipt back. Does Newegg have the same policy?

From their FAQ section:

Newegg.com does not offer any price guarantee, because industry prices change too often and too fast. If your order has not shipped, you can cancel the order online and re-order to take advantage of the new prices. All prices are as posted at the time of purchase

I do not think so... No e-tail will do this especially IT products, because IT products pricing keep changing too often. This is not clothing business.

Fark no.

Chain stores offer that feature by charging everyone more to begin with on all products. The $20 USB cables subsidize an occasional loss on a hard drive or printer pricematch.
