Windows or Mac?

Windows:
Handbrake + other software in the event of DRM

Mac:
Handbrake

So is handbrake replacing videora as converter of choice? I don't really care for videora... Probably because i don't care for DVDFab ripping my movies into individual VOB files and having to merge them.

Well, I haven't checked out Handbrake on Windows for a while, but I know that the Mac version is incredible.

Videora is another good choice, as Handbrake still does not handle DRM'd DVDs on Windows very well. The OS X client is great, but the Windows one still needs some work

So you are on a Mac... ok, then download Handbrake 0.9.2 (or whatever version they are up to these days), pop the DVD in, select the iPod preset and you will be golden.
