i'm really close to buying this Plextor drive (PX-740A). i was looking on new egg and zipzoomfly and on both sites, the beige on is more expensive than the black one... almost about $10 diff. what's up with that?

also, if anyone's bought the beige drive - retail version - does it come with nero software? i know the black one does but not sure about the beige one.

Get Benq 1640 instead because that's what PX740 really is, it's a rebadged Benq1640. You can get one on newegg for 40-45 shipped...
