I have a brand new Plextor PX-716A dvd writer and it won't read or write anything. I need help updating the firmware to see if that might fix the issue. I'm having a hard time trying to update the firmware on this dvd writer. If anyone knows how I would really appreciate it.
 
Well, I do have the 1.11 firmware for the 716 if you need that. Don't have any directions on how to flash it though. Maybe google?
