I read the thread...just from the tone of his posts and his spelling I doubt he's really 18 and I doubt his parents are drunks. Sounds to me like he'll say anything to get himself back on WoW.

well most of the suggestions that those wow guys posted involved resetting the PW... which would be detected once that dude's parents logged on so he would be in more trouble.

I wonder why he didn't just buy another HD and install it with a fresh OS and swap it out when done.


BTW, you could already tell the guy wasn't too bright to ask that question in a WoW forum...

well if you go to the broken.org they have a vid that shows how some one can get your password using a bootble knoppix CD

but in any event, if my parents locked me out of my computer that i indeed payed for i would make theirs unusable as well

My son is ten so the most interesting things he looks at have to do with lizards and bugs and he likes to play WoW.
